「グッドデザイン大賞」は、その年のグッドデザイン賞受賞デザインの中から最も優れたデザイン1件のみに贈られる賞で、審査委員とグッドデザイン賞受賞者、そして一般の皆さまの投票で選ばれる「みんなで選ぶ、その年を象徴する賞」です。会場には今年の大賞候補6件が展示されます。そのデザインの意義や生まれた背景、そして可能性を感じ、皆さまにとっての「これぞグッドデザイン大賞！」という候補を1件選び、ぜひ投票してください。
結果発表は10月28日（金）です。
10月28日（金）〜11月3日（木・祝）に東京ミッドタウンで開催される2016年度グッドデザイン賞受賞展「GOOD DESIGN EXHIBITION 2016」と公式ウェブサイトにて発表します。

The Good Design Grand Award is conferred on the most excellent design of all the designs that have won a Good Design Award that year. It is selected on the basis of votes cast by the Judges, those who have won a Good Design Award, and members of the public, so it is the prize chosen by everyone to symbolize that year's award winning designs. The six candidates for this year's Grand Award are displayed here. We would like to invite you to cast your vote for the candidate that you feel to be most worthy of the Good Design Grand Award, taking into account the design's significance, background, and potential.
The winner will be announced on Friday, October 28.
The announcement of the award winning design will be made at the GOOD DESIGN EXHIBITION 2016, which will be held at Tokyo Midtown from Friday, October 28 through Thursday, November 3 (national holiday), and will also be featured on our official website.
